James Riley, Jr. was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Charles County, Maryland. Since 2015 he has served on the Board of Directors for Charles Drew Memorial Scholarship Fund. James is officer on the board and serves as the treasurer, depositing funds, creating financial reports, filing annual charity accounts, and taxes. He currently serves as the chairman for Project ENRICH college preparatory program. Managing a staff of team leader responsible for providing high school students in Prince George’s County, Maryland with an educational foundation and preparatory experiences which assists them in their enrollment and adjustment to higher education. Preparing high school students for their college experience and after life skills, by providing college preparatory services. Enhancing the program to focus on non-traditional paths to acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities for professional/technical careers. In addition, providing the importance of vocational/trade schools to obtain skills and abilities for the 21st century. Conducting set of activities for building, maintenance, modernization, and creation of productive communities. Enhancing ideas of entrepreneurship for students to focus on their dream, visualize and then act to accomplish their goals through a path of business concepts. Assisting students in reducing, mitigating, or eliminating the rising cost of their college education. Providing awareness of opportunities, assisting students in taking advantage of these opportunities and creating a path for sustainment in the global economy. Teaching methods of financial literacy in eliminating debt through a set of skills and knowledge that allows students to make informed and effective decisions with all their financial resources. Challenging students to create viable solutions for the 21st century to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities for their stability and growth. James currently works for the Department of Homeland Security as an Intelligence professional. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Norfolk State University in 2003. James also received an advanced degree from Strayer University in 2012 with a Masters in Business Administration in Management.
