Dear Esteemed Attendees,

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all who will grace us with their presence at the 4th Annual Charles Drew Memorial Scholarship Banquet, hosted by the Charles Drew Memorial Scholarship Fund (CDMSF). Your participation continues to contribute immensely to the success of this esteemed gathering.

On May 30, 2026, from 11 – 3 pm, at the prestigious National Wildlife Visitor Center in Laurel, MD, the banquet served as a platform to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the Project ENRICH students and program, alongside honoring outstanding student from the Greater DMV area high schools.

I am thrilled to announce that this year, CDMSF had the privilege of awarding 11 scholarships, each valued at $3000, to deserving Prince George’s County high school senor recipients of the CDMSF Scholarship. Notably, among these recipients was one exceptional senior from our Project ENRICH program.

During the program, we had the privilege of acknowledging individuals who have made significant contributions to our cause. The award recipients were as follows:

• Keynote Speaker Award: Senator Nick Charles

• Student of the Year: Ms. Anissa Carter

• Directors Award: Greater Mt. Nebo AME Church

• Parent of the Year: Mr. Troy Woods

• School of the Year: Bowie High School

Once again, I extend my sincerest appreciation to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and participation in making the 4th Annual Charles Drew Memorial Scholarship Banquet a resounding success.
